         choice of backings:   

(A)    cotton mesh - no extra charge

(B)   EVA rubber-like backing.  Sound absorbing and cushioning ....add 4 cents per tile.

Suggested method of application:

Upon flat and dry sub-flooring, apply with mastic, set snug against each other. To allow for 'breathing' with humidity, allow 1/4 inch space where tiles meet walls. This can be covered with trim.

Factory crafted tiles, factory joined solid hardwood (not ply). Kiln-dried to 6-8%, then seasoned to 8-9% moisture. No loose knots, no warp, no flaws/bleeds, not t&g. Not sealed, though factory sealing (lacquer or uruthane) available upon request.
